Delete your account — The Buy-In

The Buy-In (by Stephen Doyle / BubbaProductions) lets you delete your account from inside the app, immediately.

How to delete your account

1. Open The Buy-In and sign in.
2. Tap the menu (top left) and choose Delete account. If your account is still waiting for approval, tap Delete my account on that screen instead.
3. Type DELETE and tap Delete forever. Deletion happens right away and you're signed out.

Can't get into the app? Email sdoyle312@gmail.com from the address you sign in with, subject Delete my Buy-In account, and we'll delete it within 30 days.

What gets deleted

• Your account: your sign-in (Google, Apple, or email), name, email, profile photo link, and push-notification device tokens.
• Your pool memberships, your pending picks, and your chat messages and photos.
• Any pool you run where you're the only member (the whole pool). Pools you run with other members pass to the next member.

What is kept

• Your past graded picks and pot entries stay in the pools you were in, shown as "Former member", so the other members' standings and pot totals don't change. They're no longer linked to your name or account.
• Automatic scoreboard messages posted earlier in a pool's chat may still mention the name you used at the time.
